Who we are
About the Climate Placement Project
We are a growing community of educators, advocates, and professionals dedicated to building a sustainable future. Founded by Bob Carnevale, our project brings together decades of passion for the environment with a practical approach to connecting people with climate solutions.
Your place in the climate movement starts here. At the Climate Placement Project, our mission is simple: To help people find their path in the fight against climate change. We believe the most powerful solution to the climate crisis is people. That’s why we focus entirely on one thing – recruiting and guiding individuals into the climate sector. Whether you’re a student, a job seeker, or someone ready to take action, we’re here to help you take the next step.

Why We Exist
Founded by Bob Carnevale, the Climate Placement Project was born out of a deep commitment to addressing climate change - not by talking about it, but by placing people where they can make a difference. After researching climate-related organizations, Bob saw a gap: no one was focusing on guiding people into climate careers, education, or activism. So he launched this nonprofit to do exactly that - connect everyday people with real opportunities to create change.
What Makes Us Different
Unlike other climate organizations, we don’t just talk about the problem—we help you take action. Our focus is on placement: matching people with climate organizations, educational programs, and career opportunities. We make it simple to turn concern into impact.
We are passionate advocates for environmental awareness and moral sustainability. Our mission is to empower individuals and community to make positive changes for our planet.
-
We’re People-Focused.
Our goal isn’t to push an agenda. It’s to help you find the role you were meant to play.
-
We’re Science-Driven, Not Politically Aligned.
All our content is based on science and solutions - not partisanship.
-
We’re a Public Service.
We’re a nonprofit (501(c)(3) pending) offering free guidance, resources, and support to help you Find Your Place in the climate field.
